Father of three commits suicide

LAHORE: A father of three children committed suicide on Wednesday by hanging himself with a ceiling fan in the Gujjarpura police precincts.

Muhammad Younas, a vendor, was found hanged at his house in Younas Pura. His wife told police that Younas was upset because of slump in his business. She said he returned to the house late Tuesday night and went straight to his room. On Wednesday morning, he was not opening the door of his room. She said the door was broken to find him hanged.

His body was handed over to his family without autopsy.
