Wage board case put off till March 15
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday adjourned until March 15 proceedings in the appeal of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society against the 7th Wage Board Award for newspaper employees because the appellant’s counsel was busy with another case.
The bench, comprised of Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Rana Bhagwan Das and Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan, was scheduled to take up the case on Wednesday.
It was told by an advocate-on-record that the appellant’s counsel Abdul Hafeez Pirzada was busy before the main bench in another case and was seeking an adjournment until March 15. —Staff Report
