Japanese team calls on VC
LAHORE: Professor Emeritus Meharu Kajita, higher education commission advisor to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and Dr Shinichi Shimode, curriculum designer in Mechatronics at the National Institute of Science and Technical Education in Islamabad, on Wednesday visited Punjab University (PU) and called upon Vice Chancellor Arshad Mahmood.
They discussed the JICA project for undergraduate studies programme launched by PU. Mr Mahmood briefed them about university’s academic activities. He said the launch of the BA and BSc (Honours) programmes would benefit students in their higher studies. —Staff Report
