Foodstuff to Saudi Arabia can’t be carried

PESHAWAR: The Government of Saudi Arabia has banned all kinds of foodstuff from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran with immediate effect.

A handout from the Customs Department advised all passengers intending to travel to the Kingdom not to carry edibles, as authorities would not allow them to carry the foodstuff through passenger accompanied or unaccompanied baggage.

“All passengers departing to Saudi Arabia have been accordingly informed to avoid any inconvenience,” the handout said.
