Business Notes: Forex reserves decline $108.6m

KARACHI: Foreign exchange reserves of the country declined by $108.6 million to $12.860 billion in the week ending March 19, said a statement issued by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Thursday. During the week, reserves held by the SBP went down to $75.8 million to $10,055 billion this week compared to $10.130 billion a week ago. During the same period, net foreign reserves held by the banks (other than SBP) decreased $32.8 million to $2.805 billion from $2.838 billion. —Staff Report
