Visas needed for UK transit to US

LAHORE: The British High Commission has asked Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to inform passengers holding American Green Cards issued before 1998 and I-551 Temporary Resident stamps on their Pakistani passports that they must get a transit visa for Britain if they are to stop their on their way to the United States. PIA flies to New York and Chicago via Britain. PIA has asked passengers to contact its ticket booking offices for further information. pr
