Test for admission in army colleges on Sept 8

RAWALPINDI: Written test for admission in army medical and technical colleges as paying cadet and for admission in engineering universities and colleges on reserved seats for the children of army personnel for the session 2002-2003 will be held on September 8, 2002 in Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore Multan, Hyderabad, Karachi and Quetta.

According to an ISPR press release, minimum marks in FSc for medical students are 715 (65%) while 660 (60%) marks will be the minimum limit for students who want to get admission in technical college as paying cadet.

These numbers do not include Hafiz-e-Quran marks. Seats have also been reserved for the children of army personnel in Bahauddin Zakriya University Multan for the session 2002-2003 in the disciplines of Economics, Arabic, Education, Agri BSC (Hons), Islamic Studies, Pak Studies, History, Mathematics, MBA, English, Political Science, Urdu, Chemistry, Law, Physics, BBA, B.Sc. (Computer Science), Agronomy, Horticulture and Entomology. —APP
