Rs 2.5m robbery in Cantt

LAHORE: Robbers looted Rs 2.5 million from a property dealer’s house in South Cantt police jurisdiction. Three armed men came to the house of Chaudhry Ghulam Akbar in Cavalry Ground and asked for Ghulam’s son Farooq. When he came out the robbers overpowered him and entered the house. They held the family hostage and collected cash, gold jewellery, electronics and other valuable items worth Rs 2.5 million and fled. A case was registered on the complaint of Ghulam.

Robbers loot Rs 1m: Robbers looted cash and gold jewellery worth Rs 1 million from a house in Defence police jurisdiction. Four armed men entered the house of Haji Muhammad and held the family hostage. They collected gold jewellery, mobile phones, cash and other items worth Rs 1 million and fled.

Four-year-old falls from rooftop: A girl lost her life after falling from the roof of her house in Nishter Colony police jurisdiction on Monday. Her father Shahzad rushed four-year-old Saba to the hospital, where she died. The body was returned to the family without an autopsy.

Bodies found: Two unidentified bodies were found in the city. A 45-year-old pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the Manga Mandi police jurisdiction. The driver fled. The body was sent to the morgue for identification. Another body was found on Circular Road in Bhatti Gate police precincts. The body was sent to the morgue for identification. There were no marks of torture or injury on the body.

Unidentified man dies in hospital: An unidentified man died at Services Hospital in Shadman police jurisdiction. The unconscious man was left at the hospital premises a few days ago. He was under treatment but died on Monday. The body was sent for an autopsy.
