Bomb hoax at Gulberg fast food joint

LAHORE: A bomb hoax triggered a brief panic among customers at the McDonald’s branch in Gulberg on Saturday night, manager Faisal Butt told DailyTimes. Butt said that he had called in the police to search a suspicious-looking man who entered the restaurant.

“The Ghalib Market SHO came and checked the man, but there were only clothes in his bag and he was from another city.” “Meanwhile, the car racers outside our restaurant noticed the police and called up the bomb disposal squad and fire brigade units,” he said. “It was a prank on their part. Our customers were unsettled but only for a short while.”
