GCU and Indian research centre will sign MoU

LAHORE: Government College University (GCU), Lahore, and the Centre for Research and Rural and Industrial Development, Chandigarh, agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday to collaborate in research.
Rashpal Malhotra, director of the Centre for Research and Rural and Industrial Development, met GCU vice chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Aftab and agreed to sign the MoU. They exchanged research publications.
Malhotra told the participants that 19 research reports had been compiled on communal violence in areas like Jaipur and Muradabad, where there were frequent inter-communal riots. He said that India and Pakistan should train experts in all fields.
