Two injured

ISLAMABAD: Two men were injured in separate incidents on Sunday.

Police said Haji Fazalur Rehman was beaten by three men, Mazhar Iqbal, Asif and Nawazish, to settle a land dispute. He received serious injuries to the head after being hit with iron rods and was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). His condition is stated to be serious.

In another incident, Muhammad Shoaib was injured in a road accident on a crossing in the Sihala limits. He was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors said his condition had stabled. Police has registered the cases. —APP
