AIOU exams from May 5

FAISALABAD: The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) announced on Sunday that it would hold examinations for the autumn 2003 semester from May 5.

Regional Director AIOU Faisalabad Campus Syed Zahid Hussain Naqvi said 40 examination centres will be set up in Faisalabad, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh districts for 10,000 students who would be appearing for various courses from matriculation to the doctorate level.

He said two centres will be opened for jail inmates in the central and district prisons. He said the university will also establish its centres in Toba Tek Singh,

Jhang, Shorkot, Kamalia, Chiniot, Summundri and Jaranwala. —APP
