FJMC principal to reply on student’s petition

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed the principal of Fatima Jinnah Medical College to submit, in four weeks, her reply on a writ petition by a student seeking permission to sit in the MBBS fourth professional examinations.

Petitioner Shazia Akhtar has submitted that she was permitted to sit in 3th year exams under LHC orders. However, the authorities did not announce her results till now when the following exams have approached and she is being barred from appearing.

She said that it showed malefide intentions of the respondent authorities including the principal of the college and requested that her rights should be safeguarded under the Constitution.
