Pakistan Day celebrated

LAHORE: The Pakistan Day was celebrated at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Base in Lahore here on Sunday. The one-day celebration started with special prayers after fajar for the solidarity, progress and prosperity of Pakistan and the Muslim world.
An impressive change-of-guard ceremony was held at the Mausoleum of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. A PAF contingent took over as guards from the Satluj Rangers. Wing Commander Shakeel Ahmad reviewed the ceremony. Air Commodore Nadeem Anjum laid a wreath on the great poet-philosopher’s grave on behalf of the chief of the air staff and officers and offered fateha at Mazar-e-Iqbal.
