Kabul releases another 30 Pak prisoners

PESHAWAR: Thirty more Pakistani prisoners released by the Afghan government from different jails were expected to arrive at Torkham Sunday night.
The names of the prisoners are: Muhammad Mamoon, Ashraf Farooq, Noor Hazrat, Shafiur Rehman, Shah Hussain, Muhammad Ishfaq, Fakhar Zaman, Hamayun, Mir Swat, Qaiser Khan, Minhaj Ali, Muhammad Yasin, Muhammad Alam, Muhammad Kashif, Gulab Gul, Yar Muhammad, Taslim Arif, Shamsul Haq, Hadayatullah, Zahiruddin, Rashid Ahmed, Muhammad Asghar Aziz, Abdul Majeed, Haleem Khan, Faqiruddin, Muhmmad Yousuf, Abdul Majid Nagri, Muhammad Saleh, Abdullah and Muhammad Israr.
An earlier NNI report said 30 Pakistani men, most of them in their 20s and 30s, were handed over to an official from the Pakistani Embassy, while another 20 were on their way to the capital city, an Afghan official said.
Abdul Hamid Afridi, Charge d’Affaires of the Pakistani Embassy, thanked the Afghan authorities for releasing the prisoners before eid.
