DHA Phase-5 inaugurated

LAHORE: Garrison Commander Major General Sikandar Afzal on Sunday inaugurated the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase-5.

Giving a briefing on the occasion, Chief Engineer Mudassarul Haq said the DHA new phase consisted of 7,500 Kanals. The authority completed the project seven months before the deadline. An underground power supply network had been installed at Phase-5 and there would be an independent power-producing plant, he said. There would be two entry points to ensure proper security, he added. Earlier, DHA Administrator Brigadier Abdul Jalil Khan appreciated the DHA team’s performance and said everything was ready to start constructions at Phase-5. Meanwhile, DHA officials announced the map of the DHA Phase-6 was complete and plots’ sale had commenced. —Staff Report
