Bandits turn out to be policemen

KARACHI: The police arrested four bandits in Baldia Town late Thursday night during routine patrolling.

Investigations revealed the bandits were policemen. Two of them are head constables Javed and Altaf Soomro and the other two are constables Sikander and Sheeraz, the police said. The police said a hijacked car, robbed goods, four TT pistols and ammunition were recovered from their possession. They were handed over to the Anti-Carlifting Cell for further investigations. —Staff Report
