Africans arrested for overstaying

LAHORE: City police teams have arrested a number of foreigners from Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Angola and Ghana for overstaying in Pakistan, sources told Daily Times on Tuesday.

The sources said senior Foreign Branch police officials had given lists of foreigners overstaying in the country to city police stations and had directed the police to arrest them. They said that six police teams from Nolakha, Gawalmandi, Qila Gujjar Singh, Civil Lines, Mozang and Litton Road police stations arrested more than 20 foreigners late on Monday night. They said that more than 100 foreigners had been arrested in the last week.
