Three killed in tribal clash

SHIKARPUR: Three people were killed on Friday in a clash between Chandio and Marfani tribes in Karan police precincts.

Two brothers, Ubaidullah and Zafarullah, sons of Qalandar Bux Chandio, and one of their guests, Syed Sabit Ali Shah, were gunned down when over 20 people of Marfani tribe opened fire on a house in Sardar Chandio village. The police registered a case against Marfanis. In another attack, some people belonging to Jatoi tribe attacked a Mahar village, Nimoro Goth, with rocket launchers and other automatic weapons. No casualty was reported but some houses had been destroyed. app
