‘Media, children can play peace’

LAHORE: The media and children can play a vital role for peace in South Asia, Member of the National Assembly Chaudhry Manzoor told a press conference, at the Lahore Press Club on Thursday, attended by Pakistani parliamentarians who returned from India after attending the Fourth World Parliamentary Forum (WPF) there. They said they met with Indian President Dr Abul Kalam on January 15 and discussed regional issues. According to them, the Indian president said, “The speed is wrong but we are moving towards peace gradually.” —Staff Report
