Pakistan to continue peace efforts: Rashid
NEW YORK: Information Minister Shaikh Rashid Ahmad said here on Tuesday that Pakistan would continue to strengthen the peace process in the region.
He told a press conference: “Pakistan has always served the cause of peace, stability and harmony in the region. We firmly believe that there is need to resolve all the outstanding disputes including Kashmir through a purposeful dialogue.”
He said Pakistan “today enjoys a respectable place among the comity of nations because it has pursued a policy based on principles and rendered a vital service in the war on terror”. —APP
