One dead in Moscow blast

MOSCOW: A blast tore through a Georgian restaurant in Moscow on Wednesday, killing at least one person and injuring five others, the Interfax news agency reported. The report said the blast was probably caused by a faulty gas canister, and added that the seriousness of the injuries was not immediately clear. Police said they were investigating the report. —AFP
