AJK JI ameer condemns ‘killing friends’
RAWALKOT: The military operation in Wana, an “attempt to kill friends of the country”, and the Muzefferabad-Srinagar bus service were condemned by Sardar Ejaz Afzal Khan, ameer of Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Jamaat-e-Islami.
“It is unfortunate that those who sacrificed to foil Russian attempts to occupy the country are being brutally killed by the Pakistan Army in Wana,” he said on Sunday while addressing a public gathering in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
“The people of Kashmir will not accept a Muzefferabad-Srinagar bus service because it is an attempt to desert those who have sacrificed for the Kashmir cause,” he added.
The Kashmir freedom movement has entered its final phase, he said. Although the Pakistani government has made some poor decisions, the people of Kashmir will not surrender before the Indians who are killing them with guns, Mr Khan said. The national conference in Kashmir will bring hope for those struggling for freedom in Kashmir. —SANA
