Gastroenteritis kills 2 children in Sindh village

SUKKUR: Two minor children have died of gstroenteritis and more than 50 men, women and children have been affected by the disease in village Bakhshoo Seelro near Pano Akil over the past one week.
Villagers said mostly children and women had been affected. They claimed the health department had done nothing so far to control the disease. They demanded of the authorities of the health department to take notice of the situation and do the needful.
Man kills two trying to evade arrest
QUETTA: An armed man wanted by police opened fire in the main bazaar in Hurnai, killing two people as police tried to arrest him, Muhammad Ibrahim Luni, station house officer in Hurnai, said on Saturday. He said that police was tipped off that the wanted man was at a local restaurant and rushed to the market to catch him. He said the man fired at the police, but instead hit two people sitting in the restaurant, who later died in the hospital. Police, however, overpowered the man and confiscated his weapon. app
