PPP meeting in London in June
ISLAMABAD: Benazir Bhutto, chairperson of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has fixed July 4 and 5 for party leaders’ meeting in London.
The meeting will be attended by the PPP’s central executive committee, federal council, elected parliamentarians, members of provincial executive committees, party office-bearers from the Northern Areas, and ticket holders for the 2002 general elections. Party members will deliberate on future strategies, the upcoming local government elections and re-organisation of the party at the grassroot level. staff report
