LHC tells man not to take son abroad
LAHORE: Justice Hamid Ali Shah of the Lahore High Court on Wednesday ordered a man not to take his son outside the area of the LHC’s jurisdiction until a petition bythe child’s mother seeking custody is decided.
Petitioner Rubeena Habib fears her ex-husband Ali Aminuddin, a British passport holder, might take their son Farhan out of Pakistan. She asked the court to put the names of Aminuddin and Farhan on the exit control list so that they could not leave the country.
On this point, the court has called for comments from the Interior Ministry by April 29.
She alleged that Aminuddin took Farhan to Peshawar from her parent’s house in Lahore on August 20, 2004. She demanded the child’s custody. staff report
