Interim stay against helmet law sought

LAHORE: A local lawyer on Wednesday filed a petition with the Lahore High Court to seek an interim stay against the mandatory use of helmets by motorcyclists.

Advocate MD Tahir has sought a stay against the helmet law on the pretext of hot weather. He has asked the court to call the Pakistan Railways and highways chief engineers to get his contentions corroborated.
