Punjab to set up 500 vocational training institutes

ISLAMABAD: The Punjab government has been allocated Rs 72 million to establish 500 vocational training institutes within three years. 110 vocational training institutes will be set up this year.

The Central Zakat Council was funding the project, the general manager of the Punjab vocational training council, Sajid Nasir, said on Wednesday. Mr Nasir told PTV that the students were being given Rs 500 per month as pocket money. app
