Animal trader shot dead while resisting robbery

LAHORE: An animal trader from Sindh was shot dead when he tried to resist robbers in the Nawakot police jurdistiction on Thursday. Three armed men surrounded Imdad Hussain (42) while he was sleeping near his animals. They woke him up and demanded cash from him. On Imdad’s resistance, they shot him and fled from the scene. Locals rushed him to a hospital but he died on the way. The police has sent the body for an autopsy and registered a case on the complaint of Ghulam Qadir, the deceased’s brother. staff report
