Aziz told to file polls expenses within 10 days

ATTOCK: Returning officer and Attock Additional District and Sessions Judge Sardar Tahir Sabir issued a notice to Shaukat Aziz to file a statement for election campaign expenses within ten days. Judge Sabir declared Shaukat Aziz the winner while announcing the official result of the by polls in NA-59 Attock in court on Thursday. Shaukat Aziz got 76,156 votes, PPP candidate, Dr Sikandar Hayat received 29,497 votes, Communist Party of Pakistan candidate, Engineer Jamil Malik got 133 votes, Dr Natha Nil Gill bagged 118 votes, Abdul Qadus got 792 votes, Ghulam Abbas got 116 votes, Dr Nawab Ambar Shahzada secured 92 votes. Judge Sabir has announced that all the candidates could file their objections against Shaukat Aziz within thirty days.
