CM allocates Rs 20 million for Uch Sharif’s development

AMEDPUR EAST: Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has released a grant of Rs 20 Million for the development of Uch Sharif. Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (PML-QA) Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Makhdoom Syed Iftikhar Hassan Gillani disclosed while talking to newsmen here on Monday.
Disclosing details Mr Gilani said, “Rupees 10 million have been allocated for the development of Uch Sharif, while Rs 10 million have been set aside for the construction of building of Government Girls Degree College.” He confirmed Bahawalpur district coordination officer has received the amount announced by Punjab chief minister during his visit to Uch Sharif last month. Meanwhile Mr Gillani and Union Council Nazim Makhdoom Syed Zafar Hassan Gillani have started to make projects for the development of Uch Sharif with the grant.
PTI chairman denies press reports: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has clarified that the leadership of the PTI has not expelled Bahawalpur’s Divisional President Farooq Ahmed from the party. He was talking to Mr Malik on telephone, and termed the news as baseless and concocted. He asked Mr Malik to attend central executive meeting of the party on May 24.
Case against three: AhmedpurEast Deputy District Officer Revenue Tariq Shoaib Warraich has ordered the police to register cases against Wahid Bakhsh Qureshi, Tariq Sheikh and Fayyaz on the charge of selling petrol and diesel without licence.
