Sharif family didn’t leave country after a deal: Binyamin
LAHORE: Former Punjab minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) central leader Pir Binyamin Rizvi has said the Sharif family did not leave Pakistan after a deal with the government, and they would not return by giving any assurance to the rulers.
Talking to reporters here on Monday, he said some people were spreading propaganda against the Sharif family to save their political careers. He said the politicians who had changed their loyalties were afraid of the return of Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif.
He said a change in the present political scenario was necessary and people were waiting for the Sharif family’s return. He said only the leadership of PML-N had the ability to put the country on the path of progress. He said the government was trying to get credit for the projects and plans initiated by the Sharif government. —Staff Report
