PAF F-7 aircraft crashes near Jhang
ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) F-7 fighter plane crashed 20 miles west of Jhang while on a routine mission, PAF reported on Friday.
“PAF reports with regret that an F-7 fighter aircraft crashed due to technical malfunction,” a statement said. The pilot of the aircraft ejected safely, according to the statement adding that no loss of civilian life or property has been reported. A board of inquiry has been ordered by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of the accident, the statement said. —NNI
