Deadline for 3 Qaeda men’s handover extended
Staff Report
WANA: The political administration of South Waziristan Agency has extended the deadline for the surrender of three Al Qaeda collaborators in the Shakai area by another two days.
Tribal elders held a meeting with Assistant Political Administrator Rehmatullah Wazir on Monday and sought another two-day extension. Mr Wazir told reporters that a jirga of tribal elders would visit the Shakai area and negotiate with the local tribesmen for the surrender of the suspected Al Qaeda men. The jirga assured the political administration that a tribal lashkar would demolish the houses of the suspected persons if they refused to surrender and escaped the area.
