Birth and death certificates computerised

LAHORE: District Nazim Mian Amer Mahmood has said that all birth and death certificates have been entered in a computerised database with the cooperation of the NADRA. Addressing a convention in Shalimar Town on Wednesday, Mr Mahmood said that computerised birth certificates would be issued in every union council (UC) of the city from September 20. He said that the computerised system would help control fraud since handwritten birth and death certificates would no longer be considered authorised documents. staff report
