Pak-Afghan exchange of fire injures three
GHALANAI: Three Afghan militia personnel were injured in exchange of firing with Pakistan security forces along the border area in Mohmand Agency.
Reports reaching here form across the border said the militiamen had fired at the Pakistani troops first and three of them were injured as a result of retaliatory fire by the Pakistani troops. According to reports, troops loyal to Hazrat Ali, corps commander of Afghan province of Nangarhar, opened firing on the Pakistani troops at Anargi area and later at Ghazi Kandao without bringing the action to the notice of the Afghan central government. —Staff Report
