PML-N observes ‘black day’
Staff Report
LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) here on Tuesday observed ‘black day’ throughout the province against the government’s move to deport the family of Shahbaz Sharif.
Muslim League workers took out rallies and staged a sit-in against the government’s action.
A rally was held outside Lohari Gate. President PML-N Punjab chapter Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, Secretary General Khwaja Saad Rafique, Vice President Inamullah Khan Niazi, President Women’s Wing Zakia Shahzawaz, and others addressed the workers.
Mr Khosa said the rulers had set the worst example of political victimization by sending Shahbaz’s wife and daughters back to Saudi Arabia.
He said Shahbaz’s family was not involved in politics and the government’s action had no legal grounds.
Mr Rafique said there was no rule of law in the country and warned that PML-N workers would lose patience with the government.
