Railways IG recommends rewards
LAHORE: Railways Police Inspector General on Tuesday recommended a generous reward for the police officials who killed two robbers and arrested their five accomplices in the Tezgaam robbery case at the Munnu Dero railway station near Sukkur, said a press release.
Nine robbers held a cabin man at gunpoint and robbed train passengers of cash and jewellery worth Rs 450,000 at Munnu Dero on May 8. The police raided the robbers’ hideout and a shootout ensued between the robbers and the police. —Staff Report
