Police arrests 3 men after ‘encounter’

LAHORE: The police on Tuesday arrested three suspected criminals on Tuesday after a brief exchange of fire in the Shalimar police jurisdiction. According to a police statement four cops from the Tiger Squad, who were patrolling in Mian Muhammad Din Colony signalled three persons riding on a bike to stop but they opened fire. The police returned fire injuring two of the three fleeing motorcyclists. All three men were arrested. The police identified them as Muhammad Wasim, Muhammad Zafar ullah and Moazam Butt.
