Man dies in Indian shelling
MUZAFFARABAD: A man died in the Pakistani zone of Kashmir on Thursday in shelling by Indian troops from across the LoC, police said. The 22-year-old was killed in Darra Sher Khan village in the southern Poonch district of Pakistani Kashmir, they said. Darra Sher Khan, located in Hajira sector, lies on the LoC, the de facto border that splits the disputed Himalayan region of Kashmir between India and Pakistan. Two adolescent brothers were killed in this village late last month. The man was sleeping in the courtyard of his house when he was hit by the enemy fire. —AFP
