‘Pak doctors can learn in Canada’

LAHORE: Doctor Nazir Malik, currently living in Canada, has said that Canada spends 10 percent of its budget on the health sector and offers ample opportunities for health professionals. Dr Malik said this while addressing the students of King Edward Medical College on Saturday. He said that Western countries, especially Canada, needed doctors and physicians and they spent a huge amount on the development of the health sector. He urged doctors to study or settle abroad. He said that Pakistani doctors and other professionals had good reputations abroad for their professional services. Dr Mumtaz Hassain and Dr Muhammad Zufarullah Khan also spoke on the occasion.
