Heartbroken teen commits suicide

LAHORE: A teenager swallowed poison when the girl he was in love with refused to marry him. Muhammad Iltaf, 17, had moved to Hasanabad, in Burki police jurisdiction, from Sheikhupura two years ago. He was in love with his neighbour, but she rejected his marriage proposal. He locked himself in a room and swallowed rat poison pills. Family members broke down the door and rushed him to Mayo Hospital, where he died. The body was sent for an autopsy. staff report
