35 councillors in Pasni tehsil resign

GWADAR: Following the resignation of provincial minister for the Gwadar Development Authority, Syed Shabbir Jan Baloch, nazms, naib nazms and 35 councillors in Pasni tehsil have resigned from their offices and sent their resignations to the Gwadar district nazim.

The Anti Narcotics Force had arrested Pasni tehsil nazim Syed Maayr Noori, his brother, Syed Waqar Noori, and four of their guards on charges of drugs and arms trafficking and seized a huge cache of ammunition and drugs from them. Mr Noori is the nephew of the provincial minister.

The minister had tendered resignation over the incident, claiming that the allegation was false and the drug mafia was harassing the people to occupy their lands. online
