Zardari’s claims not credible: says minister

LAHORE: The purchase of a Bentley car worth Rs 30 million by Asif Ali Zardari contradicts his claims that he will eliminate poverty and injustice from the country, said Arshad Khan Lodhi, Punjab agriculture minister, on Monday.

Talking to journalists at the Civil Secretariat, Lodhi said the purchase of the car means that Zardari intends to settle abroad with his family and only returned to create chaos. Lodhi said that anyone involved in corruption cases cannot claim to serve the people. staff report
