Kashmiris must be involved, says Anwar
LAHORE: Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Muhammad Anwar has said that the Kashmir issue cannot be resolved without the involvement of the Kashmiris.
Talking to a delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Foreign Affairs Committee led by Syed Fisal Nazki on Wednesday, he said that the Kashmir issue would be resolved according to the wishes of the Kashmiris.
Mr Anwar said that the Kashmiris were fighting for their freedom and their movement could not be called terrorism. He also condemned the fence being put up by the Indian government on the Line of Control.
The delegation offered the president their complete support on the Kasmir issue and pledged that they would sacrifice everything for Kashmir’s liberation. —Staff Report
