Mob attacks Ufone office

PESHAWAR: People assembled to get free Ufone connection attacked the company’s office located in Cantonment area on Tuesday when the officials refused to award them connections. Police injured three people trying to disperse the mob, eyewitness said. The applicants accused the security staff and police of taking bribes. They also accused officials of awarding connections only to their friends and relatives. The company has announced free connection for three days and Thursday was the last day. staff report
