PIA to carry body of student from US
NEW YORK: The body of a Pakistani student will be sent to Islamabad via Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight on Sunday.
Mohammad Ali Chaudhry, 30, died in a car crash in California on last Monday.
The release of his body has been delayed by the need for an autopsy as the police is trying to investigate if he either drunk or high on drugs.
Edhi New York office was informed of this tragedy by their head office in Karachi after Ali’s parents in Lahore contacted Sattar Edhi.
Shabir from the Edhi welfare organisation in New York told NNI the boy’s body will be flown to Islamabad on Sunday and then a connecting flight will take it to Lahore.—NNI
