Woman poisons husband

LAHORE: A middle-aged man was poisoned by his wife over a domestic dispute in Hanjerwal police precincts. Nasreen poisoned her husband Muhammad Niaz, 35, a resident of Multan Chungi, when he returned home. He was taken to a hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

Robbers injure Customs inspector: Four unidentified men shot and injured a Customs inspector when he resisted a robbery in Shadhra Town police precincts. The robbers entered Malik Dilbar Hafeez’s house in Kakay Zai area and held the family at gunpoint. They shot Dilbar when he resisted the robbery bid and escaped. He was taken to Mayo Hospital and he is said to be in critical condition.
