GCU will start course in nuclear medicine
LAHORE: Nuclear science has revolutionised medicine but the Pakistani people and Western countries consider it to be dangerous and associate it with war activities, said Dr SM Qaim in a special lecture at the Bokhari auditorium of the Government College University Lahore, on Thursday.
Qaim said that achievements in the field of life sciences and agricultural development were generally not paid any attention.
Dr Khalid Aftab, the GCU vice chancellor, showed interest in introducing interdisciplinary courses and establishing a research group dealing with Medical Physics. UNESCO sponsored Professor Qaim’s visit. staff report
