Jawad Ahmed thanks govt for Tamgha-e-Imtiaz

LAHORE: Singer Jawad Ahmed has thanked the government for awarding him the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.

In a pressed release issued from Norway, Jawad said that Pakistanis made him what he was today. “I have worked a lot and travelled extensively as an ambassador for UNICEF and the Health Ministry to combat polio,” he said.

Jawad is in Norway to participate in Independence Day celebrations. He will leave for Pakistan today (Wednesday).
